 Listen to the news stories for Monday, May 3 and answer the questions.  AFTER you answer the questions, you may go to the transcript if you are not sure of what you heard.  If you finish today's quiz, scroll down to the archives and see how you do with some of the older news stories.

Choose videos with different themes. Total viewing time must be ~ 45 minutes. (Videos range from 7 – 20 minutes) There are 11 themes including Arts &Culture, Conflict & Violence, and Environment.

Some reading to prepare for Brian's lecture...

• Watch the video Bootlegging in Pakistan and answer the questions.
• Choose TWO other stories and listen. Write the title of the story and a brief summary of the story on the back of the paper.

• Turn this paper in at the end of class today.
