Listening Practice

There are lots of listening activities with quizzes here. It's a great way to get used to hearing English at a natural speed.

Choose videos with different themes. Total viewing time must be ~ 45 minutes. (Videos range from 7 – 20 minutes) There are 11 themes including Arts &Culture, Conflict & Violence, and Environment.

Choose TWO other stories and listen. Write the title of the story and a brief summary of the story on the back of the paper.

Turn this paper in at the end of class today.

Choose any video shown between March 24, 2009 and April 13, 2010.
You must watch at least 45 minutes. We will have the SAME assignment next week, so if you want to watch a longer story, you can watch 45 minutes this week, and finish it next week.
